[ "姜胜明(1964- ),男,博士,上海海事大学信息工程学院院长、教授、博士生导师,先后在香港科技大学、新加坡国立大学、新加坡信息通信研究院、英国格拉摩根大学和华南理工大学等从事教学与科研工作,长期从事通信网络结构、协议和算法等方面的研究工作。作为核心骨干成员参与了国家“973”计划和“863”计划项目,编写全英文专著两部(Springer),获得国家发明专利9项,发表论文150多篇,曾被评为华南理工大学首届“我最喜爱的导师”,获选首届上海“千人计划”创新人才,担任第11届IEEE国际通信系统会议(ICCS 2008)组委会主席及30多个国际学术会议技术程序委员会(TPC)成员以及《International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks》编辑。" ]

海洋互联网(marine internet)的初衷是将陆地互联网尽量无缝地延伸到海洋环境中(包括水下、水面和空中),为在海洋环境中的用户提供互联网服务,其重要性和意义不言而喻。然而,在海洋这个特殊的环境中,海洋互联网还有许多潜在的应用。简要地讨论一下这些主要应用和主要研究内容,希望引起大家对海洋互联网研发的高度重视。
The original intention of marine internet aims to extend the terrestrial internet to the marine environment (including underwater
surface and air) seamlessly as much as possible
providing internet services for users therein.However
there are still many other potential applications of the marine internet in such specific marine environments.These applications and main research issues were discussed briefly in order to call for more attentions to the R&D of marine internet.
