5G轻量化是通过对性能指标的适当裁剪降低终端成本和功耗,以满足物联网等应用场景的需求。结合第三代合作伙伴计划(3rd Generation Partnership Project,3GPP )的RedCap技术规范,研究了5G轻量化方法、收益以及其对网络的影响,并对端网协同精简、终端自主精简两种轻量化实现方式进行对比分析。在此基础上提出一种融合化的5G轻量化终端实现方案,使终端产品可以更好地适应不同运营商差异化的5G轻量化部署策略。
5G lite is achieved by appropriately reducing performance metrics to trade off for lower terminal costs and power consumption
thereby meeting the needs of application scenarios such as the IoT. In conjunction with the 3GPP’s RedCap technology specifications
5G light-weighting methods
their benefits
and impacts on the network was presented. A comparative analysis of two implementation approaches was also conducted: terminal and network coordinated reduction
and terminal self-reduction. Based on this analysis
a converged 5G lite terminal implementation scheme was proposed
enabling terminal products to better adapt to varied 5G lite deployment strategies of different operators.
