摘要

LTE和WLAN是运营商未来非常重要的两张网络，如何灵活、有效地进行两网协作，充分利用LTE和WLAN的资源为用户提供更优质的服务是未来的一个重要课题。首先讨论了现有的LTE-WLAN协作机制，并分析了对两网进行无线侧协作的必要性，然后介绍了目前相关研究进展以及3GPP的标准化情况，最后对后续工作进行展望。

Abstract

Both LTE and WLAN are quite important networks for China Mobile in the near future. So it reserves to research on how to improve the cooperation efficiency and flexibility of these two networks

make full utilization of operator's resources

as well as offer better service for subscribers. First

existing LTE-WLAN cooperation mechanisms were discussed and the necessity of radio interworking method was analyzed.Then the radio interworking mechanisms and standardization progress were introduced. Finally some views on future work were proposed.
