当前5G网络频段多为高频段,带宽资源丰富,但路径损耗、穿透损耗较高,上行覆盖相对较弱,如果引入低频段资源进行上行传输,高、低频载波协同有助于提升上行覆盖。结合频谱特性及行业现状,分析2.1 GHz和3.5 GHz等频段的链路预算和覆盖性能,比较上行覆盖增强的3种方案,并对载波聚合方案的优势和限制进行了具体分析,结果表明载波聚合方案是5G网络上行覆盖增强的优化解决方案。
The 5G network frequency band is mostly high frequency band
which is rich in bandwidth resources
but the path loss and penetration loss are high
and the uplink coverage is relatively weak.If the low frequency band resources are introduced for uplink transmission
the cooperation of high and low frequency carriers will help to improve the uplink coverage.The link budget and coverage performance of 2.1 GHz and 3.5 GHz bands were analyzed
three uplink coverage enhancement schemes were compared
and the advantages and limitations of carrier aggregation scheme were analyzed.The result shows that carrier aggregation scheme is the optimal solution for 5G network uplink coverage enhancement.
